How much do the tickets cost?
Tickets are priced at £6 if purchased in advance and £8 at the gate on the night. Children under five are free, everyone else, children and adults are charged at the same price, there are NO concessions for bulk purchases or group discounts.
What type of event is it?
Our audience is mainly made up of families attending to see a large firework display set to music in a safe and comfortable atmosphere. There is a funfair on site as well as the Radio Jackie road show.
What are the timings of the event?
The gates will open as soon as possible after our safety inspection of the site which is usually at about 5.30pm. The Fireworks are due to be set off at 7.45pm but may be delayed by 15 minutes or so due to traffic congestion outside of our control. The last ride on the Fun Fair will be at 10.30pm and the site will be closed at 11.00.
What happens if it is raining?
In the event of it raining the event will still proceed unless the conditions are such that it is cancelled for public safety reasons. In such unlikely circumstances every effort will be made to communicate this to people who have pre purchased tickets.
Is there parking on site?
Yes. We have spaces for about 2000 cars on site. Some of the spaces are hard standing some are not. Please allow 10-15 minutes to walk from the furthest car park before entering the event. Please note there is no parking in the local roads.
Do you have disabled access?
Yes. There are a number of hard standing spaces reserved for disabled badge holders. There are a number of flat access points and reserved spaces for viewing the display. Please make any of our stewards aware of your access needs on your arrival to ensure your visit is an enjoyable one.
Are there toilets on site?
There are plenty of washroom facilities for both sexes. If you are not sure of the location, please ask one of our stewards.
Is there first aid available?
First Aid is provided bySt John’sAmbulance. There are a minimum of six fully qualified volunteers as well as a fully equipped ambulance to deal with any medical issues which may arise. The medical team are based behind the Family enclosure. Any of our Stewards will be able to direct you to them or use their radio to request assistance.
Can I purchase tickets in advance?
Tickets are available in advance from specially selected local outlets. A full list of outlets is on our website. Tickets can also be purchased on line through our website.
What if my tickets don’t arrive in the post?
All tickets will be sent out in good time before the event, if yours do not arrive, firstly check your Pay Pal account to check that the money has been transferred. Secondly check the address you requested the tickets you be sent to. If both are correct and you have not received you tickets reply to the email you received from PayPal confirming your purchase when you will be given instructions what to do, please note that this is the only way we are be able to check
Can I get a refund?
There are no refunds for inclement weather. Refunds will only be made in the event that the Firework Display is cancelled by the organisers for reasons of public safety. If you purchased tickets in advance refunds will be made as promptly as possible. You will need to contact us with all of the following details; the name of outlet where you purchased them, the number of tickets and serial numbers, or if purchased online the PayPal receipt number. You will need to return both portions of the tickets.
Where does the money raised for charity go?
All profits for the event are distributed to local and regional charities by the two organising Round Table clubs. A list of recent organisations helped is on our website. If you would like us to consider making a donation to a charitable organisation in need please contact us with the full details.
Will there be food and drink available?
A variety of food and drink will be available on the night from a number of vendors.
Is alcohol available on site?
NO. Alcohol is not available on site and should not be brought on to the site. We have a policy of zero tolerance. All persons suspected of trying to smuggle alcoholic drinks into the event will be searched and the drinks removed. You will be able to collect them on your way out.
Are we allowed to bring our own sparklers or fireworks?
No as these represent a serious hazard to other members of the public. We have a policy of zero tolerance. All persons suspected of trying to smuggle sparklers or fireworks into the event will be searched and the items removed. You will be able to collect them on your way out.
